Arven "Aruben" Black *silleh name, lol!* was born on December 12th, 1992. She currently lives in Rome, Italy, with her family.
Since she was a young kid, she always loved drawing. Her first attempt to ever draw a picture was to try and make coloured spirals on a piece of paper, as her aunt taught her. Her first big comic project was born in 2005, after she watched the show "Teen Titans", as she turned the heroes of this show into wolves and made comic versions of the episodes.
In 2008 she joined the online community DeviantART, and posted her second great comic, The Black Guardian, which she later abandoned, in order to give space to her third novel, Black and White: Ophelia's Story. But when she realised that neither this was the right one, she gave it up and started writing another story, but she wasn't sure wether to bring it on or not, until she played Capcom's best ever-released game, "Okami". At that very moment, she decided to take back the greatest project ever in her life: Chakra, Battle of the Titans. And that comic is finally here!
Arven loves animals, and, although her main drawing subjects are wolves, her favourite animals are cats. And her cats seem to love her much, either. That's why Arven's 'fursona' is a black panther. She loves languages, and she can speak and understand Italian, English, French and Spanish, while she can translate texts in Latin and is now learning Japanese.
In order to draw, she uses Caran d'Ache Supracolor pencils, and occasionally Derwent (in the picture above), Jolly, Giotto and Stabilo. She uses ordinary gel inkpens, especially Paper Mate, Faber Castell and Staedtler. For the paper, she uses common A4 inkjet white paper, the one used for prints.
Arven's free time activities include working on computer, playing PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS, watching TV, playing with her cats, meeting friends, eating pistachios and listening to music. Her favourite artists are 883, Max Pezzali, Linkin Park, Green Day, Three Days Grace and Nickelback.
Her favourite tv stars are Fiorello and the recently deceased Mike Bongiorno. Her favourite actor is Ben Stiller.
Arven is typically Italian-like built (long dark hair, dark eyes and... err.. negligible height), and loves Italian/Mediterranean food. Aparts from pistachios, she enjoys pizza, pasta, french fries, meat and so on, but she can't even approach vegetables, since she doesn't like any of them. Although her diet may seem full of fat things, Arven doesn't generally eat much, so she's not overweight or obese *phew*, but she isn't a top model, either.
